What Exactly Is Zone 3?

Zone 3 is when:

  • Your Tensional Selves act like locked-in characters on autopilot.

  • Your body is disconnected — not feeling, just reacting.

  • You seek belonging at any cost, even if it distances you from yourself.

  • Emotions loop without resolution: anger, fear, guilt, injustice.

  • You think there’s only one right way to see the world — your group’s way.


Intense Emotions Without Reorganization = Hijacked Mind

In Zone 3, emotions don’t help you reorganize your feelings.
They behave like bioelectrical explosions without grounding — burning energy without bringing clarity.

Your body feels it: chronic fatigue, sleep troubles, anxiety.
Your mind feels it too: intolerance to different views, fear of being wrong, confusion between faith and fact.


How Do You Know If You're in Zone 3?

Ask yourself:

  • Do I feel the need to defend my opinions like it’s life or death?

  • Do I feel guilt or shame for thinking differently than my group?

  • Do I feel physical tension and don’t know why?

  • Do I get easily irritated and feel misunderstood?

If yes, your mind might be in constant alert mode — not to survive, but to obey.


How to Break Free From Zone 3?

  1. Breathe and notice your body — this begins your Damasian Mind.

  2. Recognize your Tensional Selves — what patterns are you living today?

  3. Allow silenceFruição (inner enjoyment) starts between stimulus and reaction.

  4. Question with kindness — why do you believe what you believe? No punishment.

  5. Dance, walk, create — reorganize your feelings with movement and art.
